Blinkee Case study – React Native App for renting electric mopeds
About Client:
Blinkee is the first network of electric mopeds in Poland and offers ecological transport through a crowded city. After the second season, they had over 1000 vehicles and operated in 5 European countries. People don’t need to stick in traffic jams, instead, they can take care of the environment by renting an electric moped, bicycle or electric scooter.
Obstacles:
The client wanted to add new functionalities and services to his app. Very important for Blinkee was also the improvement of the performance of the app and increasing the speed of the application. They also wanted to build a new Service Application supporting the work of their service technicians.
Actions:
For this project, we delegated our React Native team to work in Blinkee mobile department.
We helped Blinkee to develop their apps to give their clients an easier way to log in to the app. The application has also been expanded with several new functionalities such as:
- ride-sharing modules
- new payment methods.
We used React Native and Flutter for this project.
The code also needed to be improved. A very crucial factor of the project was an expansion to foreign markets.
